The Folio Enoteca and Winery incorporates a café, wine shop and first of its kind micro-winery, all housed within an efficient and well-designed space in Napa’s Oxbow Public Market. Oberon, I’M and Hangtime wines from Folio Fine Wine Partners’ California portfolio are available by the taste, glass and bottle. The café menu is created from fresh, seasonal ingredients that are sourced from merchants in the market. The wine shop features a selection of kitchen-related gifts.
Locally produced wines from Oberon, I’M Wines and Hangtime are sold by the taste, glass and bottle at the Folio Enoteca and Winery. Folio winemaker Tony Coltrin and his team produce two wines on-site in the micro-winery: Oberon Sauvignon Blanc Napa Valley and Oberon Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley. The glass enclosed winery contains some barrels which allow visitors to witness the fermentation process of the wine.
Founded in 2004 by the Michael Mondavi family, Folio Fine Wine Partners is an importer, fine wine agency and producer of quality wines from the world’s premiere and emerging wine regions. Folio provides sales, marketing and public relations services to wine brands from California, Argentina, Italy, Austria, Spain and New Zealand.
Creating a sense of community within the Oxbow Public Market, the Enoteca prepares seasonal menus with fresh ingredients that are ‘foraged’ daily from merchants in the market. Recipes, as well as a shopping list for where to find the ingredients within Oxbow, are available to customers.
Designed by Cass Calder Smith, of CCS Architecture of San Francisco, the Folio Enoteca and Winery occupies 800 square feet of corner space within the Oxbow Public Market. The café seats 14 at the counter, with additional table seating for 12. The fully operational micro-winery contains four miniature stainless steel fermentation tanks and 18 oak barrels.
