“Where do you spend your Hangtime?”

2005 Hangtime Edna Valley Chardonnay

Story

Hangtime wines demonstrate the superior quality of Pinot Noir & Chardonnay from cool-climate appellations where the grapes spend long periods of “hangtime” ripening on the vine. A long hangtime in the vineyards contribute to concentrated flavor. Winemaking that focuses on the flavors of the grapes allows us to deliver delicious wines that express the appellation of origin. The Edna Valley region produces some of the longest hangtime in California, due to the proximity to the Pacific Ocean.

Tasting Notes

The 2005 vintage spent a minimum of 140 days on the vine leading to flavorful, mature fruit. The wine explodes with flavors of green apple and baked pears, with creamy layers in between.
