2006 Trinitas Pinot Blanc, Russian River Valley

Story

Trinitas was founded by Tim and Steph Busch and is dedicated to bringing historical California vineyards and varietals to the forefront of winemaking. The source of this wine is grapes from Saralee’s Vineyard which is located right in the middle of the cool Russian River Valley. This vineyard is owned and farmed by the Kunde Family and this Pinot Blanc comes from a small block of vines called the Frog Patch, which is a little less than two acres.

Tasting Notes

This fruit-driven wine is abundant with floral, melon and pear aromas with similar flavors on the palate. The 2006 Pinot Blanc is a versatile and delicious wine that makes the perfect alternative to Chardonnay. Enjoy this wine with melon wrapped in prosciutto or filet of sole with a light citrus butter. Of course, this wine is always great with fresh oysters on the half-shell.
